in Chiny, Pont Saint-Nicolas

When you are in Chiny

Coming from Florenville/Bouillon: 

  • Go through the whole village of Chiny and always stay on the main road (!!! do not follow the Kayak Departure signs on the left because this is another starting point)._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_

  • Pass in front of the church continuing on the main road. You then descend towards Suxy.

  • Cross the Saint Nicolas bridge which spans the Semois and take the APRES bridge on the right.

  • The parking lot and the departure point for the kayaks are located just at the entrance to Le Canada campsite (Camping side).

Coming from Suxy/Neufchâteau.

  • Do not cross the Saint-Nicolas bridge which spans the Semois but take directly left before the bridge The parking lot and the departure of the kayaks are located just at the entrance of Camping Le Canada

Coming from Florenville / Bouillon

In Florenville Center:

  • Take Direction Neufchâteau N85 for 1Km

  • Before the bridge at Lacuisine turn right towards Chiny on the N894 for 4Km

  • Go through the entire village of Chiny, staying on the main road (do not follow the signposts "Kayak departure on the left" because this is another starting point) and follow Suxy down to the Semois

  • Cross the bridge and kayak “Le Batifol” is directly on the right after the Saint-Nicolas bridge just at the entrance to Camping Le Canada.  

Coming from Liège E25/A6

On the E25/A6:

  • Follow E25/A6 towards Luxembourg

  • Continue on E411/A4 towards Luxembourg

  • Take exit 28 (Léglise - Chiny)

  • Follow Suxy then Chiny on the N894 road for 18km

  • Descend towards the Semois, DO NOT CROSS the bridge, Kayak "Le Batifol" is directly on the left before the Saint-Nicolas bridge just at the entrance to the Canada campsite. 

Coming from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

On the E411/A4: 

  • Follow E411/A4 towards Brussels

  • Take exit 28 (Léglise - Chiny)

  • Follow Suxy then Chiny on the N894 road for 18km

  • Go down towards the Semois, Kayak "Le Batifol" is directly on the left before the Saint-Nicolas bridge

(DO NOT CROSS THE BRIDGE) just at the entrance to Camping Le Canada 

Coming from Brussels E411/A4

On the E411/A4

  • Follow E411/A4 towards Luxembourg

  • Take exit 26 (Verlaine)

  • Follow Neufchâteau then Florenville on the N85 road for 18km

  • Bertrix/Suxy crossroads left on Chiny 3km

  • At the Notre-Dame crossroads turn right for 4Km down towards the Semois

DO NOT CROSS the bridge, Kayak “Le Batifol” is directly on the left before the Saint-Nicolas bridge just at the entrance to Camping Le Canada.
